Members set out whether they would like to mentor, be mentored, or both.
Mentoring
Informal, voluntary conversations between members about careers, projects and working with technology.
Mentoring is a supportive conversation between peers. It is not clinical supervision, appraisal, occupational health support, or a substitute for your training programme, employer processes or professional advice. Mentors are volunteers and are not acting on behalf of the society when giving personal views.
How it works
Members set out whether they would like to mentor, be mentored, or both.
Pairs agree frequency, format and boundaries at the first conversation, and either side can end the arrangement.
The society asks for brief, anonymous feedback so the scheme can be improved.
