The terms that apply to using this website and to ASTI membership.
Use of this website
Content is provided for general information for healthcare professionals, researchers and students. It is not clinical, legal, regulatory or financial advice, and it must not be used as the basis for decisions about patient care, procurement or compliance. Always refer to manufacturer instructions, local governance processes and applicable regulation.
Membership
Membership is personal and non-transferable. Some categories require verification of eligibility. Membership runs for twelve months from activation unless stated otherwise, and where a category renews automatically you may cancel renewal at any time. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, although the Society will consider requests where a category was applied in error.
Member conduct
Members are expected to behave professionally in Society spaces, to respect confidentiality, to declare relevant interests, and not to use Society platforms for unsolicited promotion. Access may be suspended where conduct falls below this standard.
Content and submissions
You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant the Society permission to display submissions for the purposes of the relevant competition, event or publication. Submissions must be your own work, must not include patient-identifiable information, and must declare any use of generative AI tools.
Availability
We aim to keep the website available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features and content may change as the Society develops.
